Google recommends it! If Google says this is their recommended mobile configuration, then I would go ahead with making the site responsive.  Long story short, responsive designs make it easier for Google to crawl and index content.

Adjusts to all devices! These mobile & tablet devices are constantly evolving and they come in all different shapes and sizes.  Implementing a responsive design was the best way to provide users with a high-quality user experience, regardless of the device they are using.

Plays to our strengths! We are well known for our continuous high-quality content and instructional videos. The responsive site design really allowed us to showcase our content with minimal panning and scrolling necessary. The last thing a person wants to do is pan and scroll all over the place. If it isn’t easy to navigate on a user’s smart phone they will surely bounce. A site’s bounce rate is a major indicator of quality.  Your priority should be coming up with ways  to keep your bounce rate as low as possible!

Social Sharing!  Our responsive design really makes the content easier to share. According to the Adobe  Mobile Consumer Survey, 71% of people reported using their mobile devices to access their social media networks. Enough said…

Desktop & Mobile. There are many marketers out there that have to run two completely different SEO/SEM campaigns. One for desktop and one for mobile platforms. With a responsive design, the site looks the same on both. Our site design on desktop looks fantastic. So my goal was to make mobile visitors feel like they are viewing it on their desktop/laptop.

We went live with our new responsive site on June 15, 2016. Our traffic via mobile increased over 100% (went from plugin to responsive)!  Here’s how it was done:
